Calendar Mine – A Feature-rich Desktop Calendar Program
Delaware Valley-based RPM Development is a company that specializes in developing high quality PC, Client Server, and Internet based software. The company also has a consulting practice, that offers custom software applications to Fortune 500 companies. RPM Development has been in business since the 90s.
During this time the company has come up with several software programs. Out of them all I would like to draw attention to just one – Calendar Mine. This application accurately calculates dates starting with 1583 and up to 2500 AD. I can’t think of any other calendar that can accurately calculate dates over such a big time span.
There are other bits and pieces that you are going to like about this piece of software. You are for example going to like the fact that it is quite easy to use. The interface has been built with ease of use in mind, so you should not have a problem with it. But if you do, the program offers adequate help.
Then you are going to like the rich functionality Calendar mine offers. In this category we should mention the following:
There are a few drawbacks though. First of all, you should know that Calendar Mine is free to use only during the 60-day trial period. Speaking of using Calendar Mine, the application provides support for Windows XP only - no support for Vista and Windows 7. Last but not least, after the application finishes installing, it asks you to restart the computer – which I find to be annoying.
